I can get it cast on for 2 rows , then it won't work. The yarn won't catch on the hooks and it jams. Anyone that can help me with this problem? The cast-on instructions on page 11 is for the regular knit carriage. The instructions and hints on pages 53 and 67 are for the lace carriage, which is an optional accessory.<br/><br/>My machine didn't come with any patterns for the knit contour/radar, so I am trying to figure that thing out. i.e.. how to adapt a sewing pattern to the knit radar. My frustration is that the instructions in the book on how to knit a jumper without using the knit radar are for tiny Japanese women. Too bad for you if your bust measurement is larger than 37&quot;.<br/><br/>My machine also came with pieces that I have no idea what they are for. I just pulled out my mothers singer and tried for about three hours to get the casting on from page 11 to work.
